Bummocks! Darcy. Hope it's not causing too much discomfort. What did you originally have the operation for? Sorry, I can't remember. Got any gory X-ray pictures to share.

Sorry, I love looking at X-rays, I find them fascinating...

                No sorry!
I've not seen any X-rays myself.

I broke my navicular and cuboid 3 times while serving in the army healed with bone spurs and a few other things I had a talonavicular fusion or a talonavicular arthrodesis as it's medically known!

10 days after surgery I went to get some antihistamine as I'd had an allergic reaction to one of my many tablets or injection and upon entering the chemist I slipped on a wet floor and bent and dislodged a screw confirmed by my surgeon the day after

I have a few pics of the incision from 2 weeks post op and from Friday just gone I would put them on but not sure people would like to see them.

Certainly is :O I had 3 screws instead of the standard 2!

I was quite happy with the appearance on Friday as the last time I saw it, it was so bruised.

                          Ok here are some pictures....,

Look away now if you feel you won't like it

                          Last chance

This was just after surgery had to cut bandage off as my foot swelled to much

First time I'd seen it day 11!

Friday I have another small hole the other side too.

One screw in each hole and one in the 3 inch incision... Was told I may need surgery at a later date as my other joints may over load with this joint fused.

That last on reminds me of something I have seen in a horror movie - I definitely don't envy you - hope your recovery is quick

The last one is the last of the bruising I think that one looks good I have one that I took 36 hours after the op when the bandages were removed (first pic) with the staples In thought it may be a bit gory for the vine
