We have had (I know this sounds rather hard to believe) three consecutive days with little or no rain. Some of the beds on the lottie are just getting to the stage where I can work on them without sinking up to the ankles in mud. I've been looking forward to getting on there for ages. I want to get them dug over ready for planting peas and broad beans.
However, Mrs snuffer has other ideas. She's got me painting and decorating. Trouble is, it's half term so Mrs snuffer is at home all week. I can't sneak off to the lottie without her knowing.
Decorating is earning me brownie points that I'll be able to cash in later but for the moment I am trapped in the living room with several brushes, tins of paint and some rollers. (Managed to get on here because I'm between coats).
What is it that keeps you away from the lottie / garden and how do you get out of it?
