Something to look forward to, when they fruit
I normally end up with 2 or 3 "unknown" labels each year arising from not putting labels back in when potting on etc...This year though, without much potting on at this point, I already have 4 "Unknowns"
As they say, there are the "known" Unknowns and then there are the "unknown" unknowns...
What I take this to mean is that we have the plants that we know are not labelled correctly or have no label at all........These are "known" Unknowns
Then we have the plants that we think we have correctly labelled but in fact we don't have them labelled correctly due to mix up of labels etc; these are the "unknown" unknowns...
These "unknown" unknowns do, however become known at a certain point, when you scratch your head when a cherry tomato is the size of a cricket ball etc
The point at which the "unknown" unknowns become known is not certain, so is defined as unknown..
Follow?I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
...utterly nutterly

I'm sure I'm not the only one who "knows" they'll remember what they've sown - come on, you lot, own up, don't let me be the only incompetent one here

I sowed some chillies from saved seed, duly labelled as was on the envelope only to find that now the true leaves have grown that they are actually tomatoes ...S*d the housework I have a lottie to dig
