See I think if we were designed to drink that then we wouldn't have been given teeth. Bleugh.
I've tried some truly ghastly diets in my time, the cabbage soup diet I think was the worst, though the Atkins was pretty high up too. It took me several years before I could enjoy cabbage again.
I like a shake for breakfast from time to time, but I prefer it with milk and bananas.
We do a manky banana that's passed it's best shake. Banana milk honey natural yogurt and blend - really creamy and lovely. Don't leave it though as it takes on a murky brown colour and the banana sinks to the bottom. Then it looks far less appetising!
You may say I'm a dreamer... But I'm not the only one...
I'm an official nutter - an official 'cropper' of a nutter! I am sooooo pleased to be a cropper! Hurrah!
Blending up loads of fruit isn't good if you're trying to lose weight. The body can't cope with the huge intake of sugar in a relatively short space of time - or something... You're better off eating the fruit whole. Now vegetable juicing's a different matter, although I think I'd prefer the fry up
The Bullet is the name of the machine that creates this monster. It does a much better jof that any liquidizer or smoothie maker.Spinach, banana, apple, pear, melon, lime juice, Spirulina Powder, Macca Powder and sunflower seeds, top up with water. Tastes appley. I freeze sliced banana and add icecubes as well. It's nicer when cold. You can use any combo of fruit you like, but should always have at least half dark green leafy veg. I have yet to try it with kale.
I was thinking about getting a juicer, but cannot get my head around throwing away all the pulp. (Yes, I know I could make muffins with it, but then I'd eat the muffins....).
When the Devil gives you Cowpats - make Satanic Compost!
We were looking at one of these this morning. I am going on a health kick to. Have decided to cut all the rubbish out. Last time I did it I lost over 7lb in 2 weeks.
At least you know what you've put in it and with the veg you can grow it wont cost that much to get healthy.
