        Not.
Don't believe a word of it - she has lovely 'girly' stuff on her plot too - including a pink wheelbarrow and red checked curtains in the shed window!

It's only a short step from there to high heels and false eyelashes

        • I have a pink watering can too - although that is in my garden at the moment. Maybe it's time it made it out to the plot!

          • Is anybody still watching?

Didn't tune in at all last night. Watched Real Madrid thrash Bayern Munich on ITV instead.

To be honest, I wouldn't have watched it anyway... Lost all interest.

              • I haven't watched any since the first episode. That was enough.

                • Same here - watched the first episode then forgot all about it. Another truly memorable TV series

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

                    • Watched one and two, but only managed 20 minutes of episode three, as I thought marking Y5 division calculations would be more worthwhile.

                      • More worthwhile than marking y2 division calculations!

                        • I knew this would happen. I'm getting sucked in. I want everyone to win now, although the judges made the right decision this week.

I'll be heartily sick of watching people taste pickles and chutneys by the end of the series!

                          • Yes, I'm getting hooked too, though finding the flowers and cookery task more interesting than the veg.

                            • I must say that, after the first show, I was disappointed as I thought it would show more about actual gardening. However, now I know what to expect, I am quite enjoying the programme.

                              • I watched it too and quite enjoyed it, especially the part about carrots. But it's a puzzling show. The contestants are obviously knowledgeable, but you don't get to see any of that, just their amazement when they win something. Fern Britten adds nothing. The married couples come over as boring, don't know why. On the plus side, there are some good characters and the show tests people on a broad set of skills, which makes it difficult to predict a winner. I'll go on watching.
