Thanks for all your kind wishes and cakes peeps..it means a lot!

Had a lovely birthday supper and watched a film

...the icing on the cake to the whole day was just as we were closing up to go to bed my OH said" here's your last surprise of the day....."....and took me outside into the barn.....

Clambering over some storage boxes, pallets etc etc he said. " OK just listen"....

Eventually heard a funny snuffling sound from under one of the pallets...
..looks like that's where our rescue hedgehog hibernated....we're now wondering why she was making noises in her nest and not out foraging?......babies perhaps
