By coincidence I've been reading about Piddocks...................whether young or old, they are incredibly boring. So boring that they can burrow into rocks..............and are responsible for the wholly, holey stones I found on the beach today. Piddocks – anything but boring
But I digress, sorry for the tangentisation It was a new word for me so felt bound to share it
As you were.....................
There's VC in to derail everything
In the following link you can follow my recent progress on the plot
Bill is quite right - pillockdom is not necessarily age-related.
Of course, one would like to think that as we get older, we get wiser, so being pillock at a young age is a bit more forgivable than remaining a pillock in advancing years, but there is definitely a case of some people being once a pillock, always a pillock.
You will have to exert tact on this one, G4 (HAHAHA!) if you are going to keep feathers unruffled, but not have the pillock give your Clients a bum steer on this (and other issues).
I don't want to upset the arrangements, as he is a useful odd-job man, and can do lots that I can't. (Like shinning up trees with a (running) chainsaw dangling from one hand !!!)
G4 - Please please please, don't emulate him - there might be more than twigs and branches pruned.
My hopes are not always realized but I always hope (Ovid)
Could I point out that anyone who climbs a tree with a powered up chain saw is a complete and utter dangerous pillock not only to himself but to those around him.
I doubt he wears the correct protective equipment so one slip and there would be chewed up bone and claret everywhere. He would not be the first idiot to decapitate himself doing this sort of thing and your clients would find themselves centre square in the following investigations.
Potty wincing at the thought
Yes, Potty, that's exactly what we're dealing with. Sadly.
