^^^^ I agree about the £ shop bulbs BM. Just bought 6 squid's worth and they're really healthy. The lilies and iris are shooting already - the others aren't..................but they're still in their packets

Was it supermarket kale? There's a big difference between the chopped up big tough old kale leaves you buy at the supermarket, and the tender young leaves you pick at home.
