    From what I heard on the news the other day, they were lucky to get past Malta. Probably think the cold weather's nothing after that.

      Just been buzzed by the first squadron of swifts of the year. They do stick around and for me are the sound of a French summer.

      And yes, Janie, the Maltese spring hunting is so wrong.

        Yes, after surviving the winter to be met with that. It doesn't bear thinking about so sad.
