Sorry to tell you this but if you want an apology then you must take legal action. No one will apologise until such times as you have won your case. Up to that time its an accident so there is nothing to apologise for. Their attitude not mine I hasten to say.

That just another reason I despise insurance companies, they are the people who set out the rules in a situation such as this. Just like they tell you to never admit liability if you have a car crash.

Personally if your not suffering at this time I would take stock of the situation and see how it pans out, if I am right I think you have 5 years.

I despise the compensation culture and I admire you stance on this. Nowadays it seems everyone is jumping on the band wagon, My sister in law claimed to have hurt her back at work, she got a huge pay out and now gets permanent disability allowance, she claims to be almost wheel chair bound. last time |i saw her she was giving piggy back rides to her 10 year old granson!!!!However yours is a genuine case, many are not. I dont see why you should suffer when people are claiming fraudulently all the time. Go for the jugular I say.

hey darcyvuque, sorry to hear about your accident I could imagine it being very painful!

(sorry in advance if anyone has already put this)

I for them to get the insurance company involved I would think yeah they are accepting responsibility and so they should! All you have asked for is an apology and you have still not received it! I would now seek compensation due to pain and suffering and time out of work.

Don't let the big companies fob you off hun.

Hope your feeling better soon x

I don't think that still holds true, but it might be the standpoint in our increasingly litigious society that they are coming from.
In my opinion, an apology does not put the shop or company in the wrong; I think the procedure goes something like "I'm (or we're) very sorry that you've been inconvenienced in this way." Or, "Sorry that you're not happy, we will check on that."

This comes from my experience when I worked in a situation dealing with the public.
