Its such a quaint programme. i prefer it over the other gardening programme as monty and klein seem to concentrate a bit too much on non edibles. i grow for food,i only fish edibles aswell when i fish.....maybe whe. im a tad older i will apprediate the beauty of flowers? The first episode was exactly how it has been in previous series - flitting briefly from topic-to-topic of things that need sowing / doing now and so on - so if you liked that format (in your comparison with GW ) then I reckon you'll like the rest of the series - assuming they don't change the format that has been popular for years!
