  • Any grapes from Wolverhampton?

I have a stack of roofing battens and have a lot to give away.
It has been standing around in the weather so may need to be cleaned off before use but as i say, there is a lot.

I plan on making a trellis for my peas and runner beans and have a few other uses for some of it.
But the amount i do have is more than i can use so it would be perfect for the allotment are areas of a back garden.

Let me know if you are interested.

I'm in Halesowen and work in walsall. Would roofing battens be good for raised beds?

Probably not, unless they are supported by some good thick posts, each of which i wouldn't space any further than 2 feet apart.
And you would also have to treat the battens in order to stop them rotting when the soil is up against them.
