Clever, innit!? I had a bottle garden when I was a teenager - loved it. Gert big one like the one pictured. If only I could remember what happened to it. But then, I was a teenager...

My sister had one once. It was her birthday present from my M+D but my aunty had to look after it for a week to keep it a surprise. But she was no plant keeper and managed to kill three of the plants in such a short time.
My M+D replanted it and it looked really nice. Not as nice as the one in the article though.

My father had one for at least 10 years...then I went to Uni , and he chucked it away. I'm sure it would have gone on for years more- but it was starting to get a tad overgrown.

We had one of these for about 6 years- then left it for 6 weeks unattended in too much light and they died.
            A very sad moment tbh.

We all live on one of those.

yeah I wondered the same with the unheated propagators, I put seedlings in a while ago and Ive not re-watered but seen condensation on the top and wondered if it just drops down and starts over?
