Wake Up...

I've got a couple of days off work to get the allotment sorted and I'm itching to get going. The kids are supposed to be helping me. Is it rude to go and shout 'Wake Up' down their earholes?

Don't know about rude but I don't think you're going to get very happy helpers doing that.

I think maybe you need to decide a time with them the night before....then they can't complain!
( well...they still will whatever time you wake them up!)

Have two teenage boys who rarely see the morning. Frustrates me enormously especially when one has uni work to do and the deadline is ...today! Used to long for them to have a lie in about 10 years ago though.

The kids are 21 and 14. Hardly kids but they did promise to help. I gave them till 11 and got them up.

I could sleep for England when younger then I joined the army. The man with the metal dustbin and big stick walking through the barrack block playing drums seemed to work though.

My mom would strip mine and my sisters beds. Everything was thrown on the floor pillows, duvets and even the bottom sheet. One big pile in the room if we still didn't get up then she'd open the curtains and the windows.
So it was best to get up when she told us as we had to make our own beds if she'd stripped them.

My Dad used to put records on the wrong speed that soon got me out of bed, nothing sounded worse than your favourite song being played at 78 instead of 45 rpm.
