What on earth is Cropaid natural plant antifreeze

Hello,

I heard about this on essex radio a few weeks ago and looked up Cropaid with google.
There was plenty of information about the product on the cropaid.com website. Anyway, my question to the experts is, what is the potential of this product based on the claims made on the website? They also scooped the grower of the year awards for technical product design 2007.Also, they have been featured in the evening echo and on the government news network. I am thinking of purchasing this product purely out of curiosity for their claims of frost, heat AND cold protection, as well as crop yield and quality. OMG, its got so many advantages that I really need the experts here to have a look and see what their opinion is. Obviously, sometimes things are too good to be true.
Please help if you can.

I've got a flyer for this somewhere, i picked it up at a commercial trade show last year. I'll see if i can dig it out. It certainly looked interesting from a commercial point of view - don't know if i'd bother in the garden/allotment though?

I was hoping that I would get an explanation why I should or should not buy this in the future.
Any opinions would be gratefully received.

Well Andy, I won't be buying it because I don't think I need my food treated with any kind of anti freeze. I reckon if it can't grow here - it can't grow here. I grow my own because I want to get away from the unatural practises of the big growers. But that's not to say you can't put some kind of plant anti freeze on yours.

Cropaid NPA consists of three different types of Thiobacillus bacteria which exist naturally:
These bacteria are Thiobacillus Thiooxidans, Thiobacillus Ferrooxidans and Thiobacillus Thioparus. The product also contains over 60 minerals, pyruvic acid, oxaloacetic acid and rusticyanin.
I was really hoping that science-based 'experts' would look at this. So far, I have not seen an expert reply.
I will have to try and find expert opinions somewhere else. If I have any luck, I will pass on the info.
