  • Things I've never thought about before..............

    How does a horse drink?
Today I watched a horse having a drink from a stream - snuffling away with its mouth in the water.
I've never thought about why some animals lap up water and others suck it up.
Goggle says that, in general, carnivores lap and herbivores suck.

I've started sucking up my coffee now

Why do biscuits have their name printed on them?.............I know what a custard cream looks like & a digestive & a bourbon & a nice & a rich tea & a bladdy morning coffee.

They don't. If you hold them up at an angle in the mirror it says 'gullible'

Dip their beaks in, throw back their heads and wobble their throats, like that Jillie woman who used to taste wine on the tele.
          Chickens do that too

Our cats won't go near the fresh water we put out and always drink from manky puddles

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

How do my dogs know we are going for walkies before I do? How can they hear a Kit-kat being very carefully opened from 3 rooms away?

I didn't know chickens were wine tasters. Being teetotal mine never had the chance to try
Wood pigeons don't throw their heads back though. They shove their beaks in and guzzle.

that is to say, I'm teetotal, don't know if my chickens were
