Off in the morning on my hols for a week so all be good - no fighting while MOM's away!
Fancy having a month of fame and going away and missing a week of it!
Goody bag not yet arrived so should be able to report on contents on my return.

My mums off to the Lakes tomorrow, too - if you see her, Flum, give her a wave.

She will be the one looking gloomily out of the car window at the rain with a flask - she's meeting her twin and they're staying in a cottage for the week. Aforementioned twin is too mean to spend any money in nice little tea rooms, which is a shame as that is one of mums favourite pastimes!

Well, Christmas has come early, chaps and chapesses! My parcel arrived while I was away and was taken ijn by the next doors. It contained seeds (lots!) gardeners' hand stuff (needed by someone who hates gloves!) a book on British Food - old and new ideas for the home grown goodies - Organic Gardening by Allan Shepherd - looks like a great read - some special bags for keeping veg fresh (re-usable) and sticky traps for white fly.

Hope you had a lovely time in the Lakes and that the weather wasnt too bad! It's lovely getting your MOM parcel isn't it? Lots of lovely goodies - my fave is the kitchen knife which I use every day! Enjoy your goodies! Bernie
