You're definitely welcome, he always comes over as a bit weird and creepy to me.

Read an interview with the Springwatch team the other day, can't remember who said it but they were saying that people keep saying it should be Summerwatch by the time it's on. They then said that they couldn't do it in the spring proper as there was nothing happening but totally failed to say why they didn't call it summer and this close to June it is pretty much early summer. Maybe it just sounds better

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

There was a lot of giggling in our house at that point though

A terrific programme! Some great camerawork, informative chat, subtle humour and if it gets people interested in and appreciative of the natural world, all the better...

I've made a note of that for Scott mills and innuendo bingo radio 1 fans lol

The bit on two spot lady birds was fascinating, I've loads of lady birds on my plum tree but now I'm gonna do a survey for 2 spots

It's one if the better series on TV .

I liked the articles about the sea eagles in Scotland

The information about the ladybirds was interesting

                    Purists would disagree .
You could run a springwatch , all year .
Mixed in with beech grove countryfile
Practical information to hold people's interest about what there is to see in the British isles
We all have a duty and care as gardeners for the future too

I have never been to minsmere , been to Leighton miss in lancs .
Which is well worth a visit

                    Locally we have rspb saltholme
                    Which I visited yesterday .
Car park was full , the sun had brought people out to see the wildlife n birds .

Yes, I'd never seen one hatch from its cocoon before. Lots of people kill the cocoons thinking they're some horrible kind of pest.
I've been moving mine into a butterfly tent so the school kids might see them hatch
