    Morning All

Another sunny day, decided today will be a about thinking positive for me....please join in, it really is good for you!

Leeks looking resplendant and the slugs appear to have taken a night off.

New braasica plugs arrived yesterday so recovered the losses of last weekend.

Picked up four new blue barrels yesterday (FOC) so will be able to make some additional exotic smelling nettle and comfrey tea.

Even the snoaring to be heard through open windows sounded tuneful this morning.

Most importantly though... my garlic looks ready to lift

Have a positive and healthy day.....yes you!

All this warm weather and rain has certainly given everything a good start, my runners are doing well and the leeks are fatter than they've ever been. Plus theres strawberries to pick every day

I gave my tomatoes their first liquid feed yesterday and already they look perkier and less yellow. It'll be a while but I'm really looking forward to the first fruits!

Just bought a couple of yellow tomato plants. Each of them have 4 side shoots just begging to be rooted.
10 tomato plants for the cost of 2 !!! yey!

Tonight's tea. Mesclun, Lollo Rossa, spring onions, radish and cold new potatoes all with some salmon.

And no the salmon did not come from my pond.

Had a really good day, met some former colleagues for lunch and had a riotous time over a few beers, lifted my garlic and really pleased, my best result for a long time.

After a couple of years of very small flowers or very few flowers, my clematis "Pilau" is glorious this year.

Nothing died or got eaten overnight, more delicious new potatoes and the strawberries are now so prolific I may even be getting sick of them and giving some away by the weekend.

The grapes are swelling and lots of little tomatoes forming.

Firestorm runners really accelerating in this heat, really dark green leaves, chuffed with them so far.

Please don't laugh but this is the first year when I am positive that my onions are going to end up larger than the sets I planted
I can't resist admiring them, stroking their leaves and telling them what good boys they are.
(You do know that onions are male of course!)
