Morris's son have got their chickens on at half price. I just picked up a 3kg for £1.75
May be a good time to stock up the freezer.

Apparently it's "store policy" to only allow you to buy 2 items on an offer. I read in a paper that a lady trying to buy steaks that were on offer, when she arrived at the till some were taken away from her and she was told that it was store policy to not let people bulk buy on offers etc she asked to speak to the manager etc but was told it was store policy - i think if you google morrisons steak the article comes up... Might need to Change clothes or go in a group to make sure you get them haha
I didn't know that, thanks Gogledd. Glad I only bought the one.

Given the high cost of bird feed I don't know how they can produce a chicken of that size for that money. Corners have been cut for sure. Sadly, very probably on animal welfare I suspect ...
Pain is still pain, suffering is still suffering, regardless of whoever, or whatever, is the victim.
Everything is worthy of kindness.
Probably but it was the price cut that appealed tome.

I got 3 in store yesterday. It was £1.75 per kg, not per chicken as I had originally thought when I read bm's post.
I usually try to buy 'conscientiously' whenever I can, i.e. with animal welfare in mind, but sadly things have got pretty tight at the moment and I need to put feeding the family before any feelings I have about anything else.
I sincerely wish I could afford to make more moral choices because I'm aware of what my cheap meal costs to the provider of it. And obviously I'm not referring to Morrisons or Tesco.
