I'm new to this site so I thought i'd just come on and say

HELLO IS EVERYONE GROOVY?

Fantastic.

So a bit about myself. I've had an allotment for about 4 years and I try to grow as much as I can. Not always successfully but that's ok. You can't get a coconut every time. Got a couple of kids, 2 cats and a dog, as well as a partner. I like music, reading, gardening, and I love ancient history. Especially Rome, The Iceni, Egyptions, Vikings etc.

So, won't bore you anymore but the site looks fab and I look forward to chatting to anyone who fancies a good natter about anything they like.

My best mate calls me The Tart, but that's rich coming from The Slapper!

The name is a sort of joke between us that started on the lottie. Due to some peoples (the men's) attitudes about having women and kids on the plots we decided to play along. They were spreading lies and so on, so we decided to turn the whole thing into a joke. They're now leaving but we're still there.

The name just stuck really. I don't mind. It could be worse
