If you use the pelleted wood variety, try any horsey/country feed store, and buy their pelleted bedding. It's the same stuff, and you'll get a much bigger bag for not much more money.

I've not been invited to many 'black tie events' over my lifetime (although I've been in the company of a few genuinely really rich people before - with conversations that can be absolutely mind altering).

Anyway, the arrogance, ignorance, pretentiousness and general bad manners of many last night- might have led me to do/or say something that I would have regretted this morning.

I'm so lucky to have another half, that has a 'telepathic alarm', that enables her to home in when I'm ready to burst - defuse the situation, and smooth over any contentious conversation that I seemed to get involved in.

It was a fundraising event, and I'm quite sure that the charity done well - however, if any of the bar staff, waitressing personnel and/or cleaning staff are members of this site -then I apologise on behalf of the @rseholes that found such demeaning acts highly amusable.

Hospital staff who never inform patients (or their family) of what to realistically expect when they are discharged from hospital. If they took time to explain more carefully there would probably not get as many discharged patients turning up at A & E in the middle of the night in a panic.

Stupidly thinking I could empty melted candle wax into a dish. My worktop, cooker, dishwasher and floor ended up covered in red wax.
