One of our charity shops 'demonstrates' a donated record player by playing donated LP's all day long. Jus' saying'.

Not chatting, still ranting. This ban includes what Hazel said, no licence, no fees paid to recording artists

My rant...
same over here- a public licence costs over €600...We have to pay for 3 TV licences cos we provide TVs in 2 guest bedrooms- and aren't allowed to leave DVDs with the DVD players cos we are not prepared to pay for a public licence !!!!!
And yep- they are due in the very near future...and yes- a 'Happy Xmas' to the French TV licensing Authority.

Scammers are busy today.

One e-mail each from Santander and Barclays, both addressed Dear Customer. One asking to click on a link to update my account details, one asking me to click on a link to obtain my new contactless card.

Trouble is I don't have an account with either bank.

Quite. Having spent 2 years with no heating or hot water, a plumber fitted the new boiler yesterday. He was supposed to be back today to connect the system up. He isn't here.

Why do some people go out of their way to see the worst in everything and everybody? The miseryguts in question seems to enjoy moaning about everyone and everything and trying to spoil everyone else's happiness too including her "friends". She is so negative that on the occasions she is at an elderly relatives of mine when I call I just want to gag her as she whines and moans.
