Sorry to hear that news - it's disgusting what people will do to other people's belongings just to get a cheap thrill, because they are bored or drunk!

They never think of the people putting lots of hard work, effort, love and money into something they enjoy!

What's even sadder is that should they ever be caught the worst they'll get is a slap on the wrists!

It's a pity we got rid of man traps.

Trouble is there is no real punishment these days to deter such mindless behaviour. Hope you get sorted.

I am so sorry, I actually can't think of the words to describe how I feel for you. People who do things like this don't need understanding or counselling they need a sharp shock!

I am so sorry to read this thread, Greenleaves. Your allotment site is not the only one to suffer, sad to say - from time to time fellow grapes have posted similar threads. My site is often attacked- so far I have had my shed broken into and stuff vandalised and other members of my site have had things stolen and taken - for that reason I never lock my shed or keep anything valuable there. It is still heartbreaking. On the up side - plot holders draw together and develop solidarity which is heartwarming.
People share things much more these days and watch out for each other - I love that!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

If there is any justice, when the mindless morons that did this grow older they will take up a hobby that gets destroyed by equally mindless morons

Three things that adversely affect other people's environment and that make my blood boil are graffiti (although I understand that this is showing off), littering (although I understand is thoughtlessness) and vandalism (which I cannot comprehend at all).

How can anyone, whatever age, think it is ok to destroy something that belongs to someone for no gain?
