Guide Dogs have a campaign called "Streets Ahead", aimed at preventing pavement parking, which can cause particular problems for people with visual impairment and mobility problems, for older people and for parents with young children.
This month not one, but two private member’s bills on the subject of pavement parking were presented to Parliament.
Guide Dogs now need help to secure government support for these bills. If you would like to support the bill to end pavement parking, please take a minute to email the Minister for Transport and ask for his support for this vital new bill.
