I thought after the "issues" a few months ago people were going to be offered the position rather than have it awarded without their knowledge so they had a chance to say yes or no.

.....but, in this case, it would have been offered, and we'd be waiting for a reply - result no MOM.
This is the first no-show. I'm sure there is a genuine reason for it.

So pleased you are ok. My dad died about a week after I got MoMed, people were really kind. I felt bad because I was so inactive that month but it doesn't spoil the honour.
