Night all!
I've had the worst year ever at lottie due to rabbits, badgers, slugs, pigeons, beetles and a virtual drought while we were on holiday. All my crops have been way below average or else non-existent.
The success of 2014 has been my new square foot garden at home. I am soooo grateful for the excellent square foot thread, started by BM, and added to by various Grapes, which has saved my gardening bacon this year.
More veg has come (and is still to come) from 4 square metres than the whole of my allotment plot!

My year has been a major drag. Crops are poor this year, not been well and have decided to give up my second plot to concentrate back on my original plot.
But being positive giving the second plot has meant I have sat down with a piece of paper and re planed plot one. Ok the weeds are all over the place but the bees and butterflies are loving the flowers. It is quite nice to stop working and watch them flitting about. Quite therapeutic sometimes. Once the flowers start to die down I will dig them up.
Later on today I am going through all my seeds. See what I am going to plant next year then send the ones I wont use to the VC for the seed forum.
Then when OH is at work I am hitting the website that VC suggested to get some seeds that I need
Kids will help to so could end up with a weird selection coming through the post.sigpic
