We went to the Mendip Hills camping. The place we were at was 1,000 above sea level. It was very cold and wet. Had quite a few lightening storms at night. We had a good time though. Kids enjoyed it.
Did Wells, Wookey Hole and Weston Super Mare.

It was ok. Rain was a bit of a bummer and when you get soaked to the skin several times it looses its appeal after the second time.
We were by the kids play ground and the little angels were out playing and kicking their football at my car gone 9.30. OH wouldn't let me get up and shout at them and puncture their football.
Then at Wookey Hole this guy and his laptop bugged the do dah out of me. This place is a massive cave system and you go around with a guide but in quite a large group. But it is very dark with some very steep steps in places. This guy kept stopping very suddenly in the middle of the paths and taking photos of his kids leading to a pile up several times behind him. Nearly lost little girl down some steps cause of him. Of course OH wouldn't let me smash his laptop against a rock or throw it in one of the many pools.
On that note and in the gist of this thread. Morning everyone. Have just had my porridge and am having a nice cuppa

Morning, just come in from the bonfire to watch Leeds v Middlesborough...............guess that'll be another 3 points down the swanny.

Hay Bigmally I didn't know you were a Leeds supporter. My OH is. Was born and raised in Pudsey.

Morning NVG, yep Leeds born & bred. Hopefully Sharp can carry on where McCormack left off but for me Doukara looks the business. Drizzly here but the sun is looking for its hat.

Cloudy morning. Off to plot to chop the 'mini corn cobs' down, and collect a few more 'huge courgettes', ratatouille, I think today, courgette quiche maybe, blackcurrant tart.

Hoping the wind is blowing in the opposite direction to what it was last week, so will blow the bean wigwam back the other way! If you understand me.
