I was completely surprised to see in As@a today English borage honey among the cheapo foreign stuff they sell so much of. Had to buy a jar to try. Wow! It's the most beautiful pale colour, almost clear, the fragrance is so delicate, and the flavour is fabulous! I shall be back down there tomorrow to clear the shelf, 'cos I suspect it won't be in again this year.
I've never seen borage honey sold commercially before, didn't realise anywhere grew borage commercially, but after a goggle I find it is grown in East Anglia for the cosmetics industry. Grow more is what I say! Yum!
