And this is a war story:
When the remnant got back to their trenches, one boy discovered that his pal was missing.
He asked his officer if he might go out into no-man's-land to look for him.
The officer said, "Yes, you may go, but it isn't worth it."
The boy went and in a little time returned, mortally wounded.
Before he died, he said to his officer, "It was worth it , sir, for when I reached him he said "I knew you'd come."
That is friendship. Real friendship.
- Al Koran (From 'Bring Out The Magic In Your Mind')
Pain is still pain, suffering is still suffering, regardless of whoever, or whatever, is the victim.
Everything is worthy of kindness.

- Socrates

Everything is worthy of kindness.
There is nothing more potent than thought. Deed follows word and word follows thought. And where the thought is mighty and pure, the result is mighty and pure.
- Gangaji
