At this time of year several DIY stores tend to reduce their stock, to make way for Christmas toys, etc.
I called at local WILKO store today, and they had tons of offers.
Most of their seeds were marked down by 75%
Broad beans 25p
Runner bean 25p
Spring onions.25p pack
Courgette 40p pack
Broccoli 25p pack
My shopping spree of five packs of various veg seeds came to a grand total of £1.40
Then a quick trip to B&Q. Got me 10KG poultry manure pellets for £9 ( Bought three just to be sure )
That is cheaper than anyone on ebay.
I left two tubs in the shop, but might call back for them some time during the week.
