That's going to make a lot of pumpkin soup
. I'm hoping to grow a big one next year. When I say big I mean anything over 10 kg is going to be double the size of anything I've grown previously

They're very impressive but all I can ever think of is "why?". For the amount of space it would take up I'd rather have lots of smaller tasty ones, the thought of having to work out what to do with all that pumpkin in one go scares the hell out of me.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

What i find sad is when they talk about the others that get thrown out - i hope they make good use of them, and either eat them or give them away to people who could use them!Comment
