I have the same problem - get a message saying my pics are too big but cant get them to resize. Well, I can, but only a very small percentage of the photo resizes so you'd just see a little bit of leaf or something. The resizing tool seems to pick up just the bit of the photo that's the correct size and use that instead of resizing the whole thing. I'm obviously doing this all wrong ...!? And I thought I was half decent with pics and cameras as well - sulks!
