  • Crazy weather!

Just listening to the football on the 'net radio, whilst watching skysports on the tv! and they showed Sunderland's ground - the snow was swirling around everywhere, match eventually abandoned waterlogged pitch!

Listening to Radio Derby and its chucking it down with rain there.....here its beautiful, the suns beating down (though it is a bit windy ) and the temperature is a warmish 17 centigrade.
Seen a couple of butterflies and some bumblebees - c'mon bb's find yer nestbox! Lovely day.

I've just been reading Piglets post in the what I did today thread, SBP he says he's had rain I like about 10 miles from him (I think) and we've had sun all the time !

We've had quite warm weather here today too. Even saw the first bee of the year today floating round my plants... Yay! It was HUGE!

Sunny, sideways rain, hail, snow and the occasional bee with a parachute.
                  Best wishes

I was at work last night and we had a 40 minute snow storm at 3am in the quarry where it work. A quick dash to the workshop and the kettle was called for.

This morning, even the light dusting of snow cannot dampen my enthusiasm - the sun is shining, very little in the way of cold winds.........and my first daffy has opened!!! Off to work now, hi ho, hi ho....

                            4 seasons

Had the weekend all planned, all we needed was some cooperation from Ma Nature.

Woke up Saturday to an inch of snow.

Went out shopping instead of being in the garden.

Came back just after lunch and all the snow had gone.

Laid 3 tonnes of block mix + cement around the stable and pulled a muscle in my back.

This morning I'm sat in the caravan listening to the rain falling and not finishing the OH's cold frame

Only snow on the hills now - but buckets of rain.
