I am afraid not. They alternative. Could be one week days and one week nights ect. But its only 3 days in and 4 days off.

for a start,make sure you have it in by the time they say,dependent on what notice you are required to give, the letter is just to say who you are,position held or what ever,and give the date and times of your last shift,and sign it,then deliver it to whom ever,and know they have it,

Check your contract Carrie it should say in there how much notice you need to give.
