  • Sorry...a Ch****mad question!

    ...bit early I know but....

i'm doing a couple of Xmas fairs soon and wanted to make a few tree toppers in felt/ wood.

and so, I am a bit confused...

a understand why you have a star on the top...but why a fairy?

I've had a bit of a goooogle and can only find the naughty joke about Santa( please don't repeat it here! )

    so why a fairy?
    Why not an angel...

    see I'm a bit confused!...

Maybe it was an angel but it has been "modified" into a fairy
I dunno, can I go back into hibernation now until January please?

      Sorry.

I would assume it's supposed to be an angel too.

I can't answer your Q but I've got a lovely pair of Xmas tree toppers that I just use as stand alone decorations - a Santa and an angel. They are Scandinavian, a cardboard cone with felt stuck all around and the head and arms stuck on after. Really lovely. Angel looks like the photo, if you want me to take a photo of both of them I will

                  I found the joke to
I always thought it was an angel who went and told the shepherds and was above the stable and heralded the news Jesus was born.

What is the difference between the two? Is it just the halo? They both have wings, angels often have a wand...

What I want to know is, why is the angel on the tree always female ? angel is not gender specific, take for instance probably the most famous of all Gabriel
He who smiles in the face of adversity, has already decided who to blame

Who says Angels on trees are female BB? Angels have long hair and wear a long robe - that' doens't make them girlies

She is very lovely Scarlet......and I reckon I could make one of them (will have a go this afternoon) please can you show us santa too?

I think the fairy on the tree is a way to enjoy the season without the religion.

I also thought it was an angel. Everyone pick and mixes their christmas anyway so I wouldn't worry. a new one I learnt this year was christmas spiders
