What's The Strangest Veg Produce You've Eaten?

Just wondering. And maybe looking for ideas!

Having lived in Japan, I have been lucky enough to sample Wasabi ice cream and Sweet Potato ice cream.

What seemingly bizarre veg related products have you tried and how were they?

I really don't like wasabi but the sweet potato ice cream was quite nice. Burdock root (with grilled cheese) was a favourite.
