What can we say that has not already been said, but what we all have to say is,they have only left home, and 2 you will still be in contact with you, lets hope that mary has been coaxed out her shell a bit,am sure there will still be some pics to see,so we will all continue to be entertained,as others have said, thankyou so much for sharing, has bessie or the others been looking for the other 3,and did she see them go off with the new owners,

I wonder if Mary was so calm because she was thinking....gawd...another new dog to the household????
..she's been wonderful through all the changes over the past 3 months....what a fantastic lass ( credit where it's due )
Give her an extra cwtch from me!

Bessie was out of the room whenever a puppy went "missing" but she doesn't seem to have noticed they've gone yet. We've been for a walk and she was happy to go.
The other 2 pups are asleep in the big box. I'm sure they'll enjoy not having their ears pulled all the time or having to fight their way into the food bowl
Does seem quiet though. Keep expecting to feel a puppy scrabbling at my foot to be picked up.
Thank you for all the pictures and the enjoyment you have given us. We, like you, will miss the ones that have gone to their new homes but please keep posting pictures of the others.
Well done you, it can't have been easy!!! Big Hugs.

Oh nooooo they've gone. I guess they did have to leave home at some stage, and it sounds like the dogs themselves weren't distressed at all (unlike their owner ). This has been a brilliant thread, I hope you keep posting VC, and also any news you hear about the 3 who've gone. It's great that you'll be able to meet up with 2 of them (is the other one going to France, or have I misremembered that?).
I refuse to be sad. It has been lovely to share your experience and you and Bessie have done a grand job and now all the puppies get even more love in their forever homes.
When we collected our ridgeback (the only dog I ever owned that wasn't from a rescue) I was overwhelmed with guilt at taking her away from her mother.
The breeder explained to me that dogs can't count.
If they don't see them go, they don't miss them.
Dogs have large litters because pups are so vulnerable to predation. Mum really doesn't miss them the way we do.
The puppies and Bessie and Mary will all be fine (you know because you chose the homes) and they are all alive and well because of you and the lady at the rescue.
