Can I have the cake and cuddles please Bessie is just Tooooooooooo lively. She's supposed to be quiet, no running, jumping, walks on the lead etc. She doesn't know the meaning of taking it easy. Just won't keep still. I'm sure the Vet will tell me off tomorrow
The dogs and cats that I've had over the years have all been the same, they don't slob about feeling sorry for themselves, like humans do!
They just get on with it once the anaesthetic effect has worn off....
perhaps they think " ooh - I feel better today than I did yesterday - wonder what that was all about"
I'm sure you're right Thelma. Maybe they think they still have to hunt for food, instead of being served up by slaves.
She's not even interested in her "cut". There are no stitches - presumably its glued
Vet check tomorrow and another next week - then she is allowed off the lead
Back to the vet's today Frosty, for the 2nd checkup. I don't think there are stitches - nothing visible anyway. Its not quite healed - 2 little open bits - but its not affecting her energy level
The pups are growing rapidly - especially Ted who seems to be the same size as Bessie and is a real little pudding. Spud is still the lightweight. Their fur is growing longer and makes them look twice the size they are. Fortunately, they seem to have the non-moulting coat gene from Bess
I'll take some photos later!
