Anyone had Puppies? Part 1

VC if/when it happens you will not be worried about 'messy stuff'. Watching/helping an animal bring new life into this world is a wonderful experience, you worry about the 'messy stuff' later.

Is there anyone who has owned a small dog or a cat, who hasn't faced this challenge? They join you in the chair and snuggle against your back, (so you have to sit up straight and not slouch back). Then after a while they strrrrretchhhh, all four feet in your back, and you shift forward a bit. They curl back up, but closer to you again. Every five minutes or so the manoeuvre is repeated, until at last you're sitting on the floor and they have the whole (warmed) seat.

Use to have a brown Burmese who liked to sleep on my bed at night. Would dig her claws into me to make me move over in my sleep. The amount of times I woke up on the edge of the bed or with one foot on the floor to stop me totally falling out well I lost count.
I ended up shutting the door on her but being a smart cat she figured out how to open the door. Even after she had passed away I still woke up in the morning on the edge of the bed.
That's pets for you

Well he would be good looking he is from a Welsh strain!!!! He came to me as a 8 week pup from Jacks Hill farm in Derbyshire but he comes from good Welsh working stock.

Strange though he hadn't got that lovely lilt to his bark.
