Awwww. It looks like a box of toy dogs in the second photo, they look so angelic.
Does mummy dog mind them being transported about, or has she stopped being protective now?
They run and skip about like toy dogs too
Bess keeps an eye on them, she knows where they all are all the time.. She doesn't worry about them being picked up, even by strangers, but she watches, and if the pup starts squeaking she's there like a shot.
When the pups see Bess, they mug her, trying to get to the milk bar. She will only put up with them for a short while, then walks away, shedding pups as she goes.
She's still cleaning up after they've been to the toilet, although its not doing her own digestion much good I try to get in to clear it before she does, but she must smell it and she's there immediately.
Its really interesting watching them develop - each day they change. Amazing.

Black Pudding/aka Rhodie is a super dog. Taller than the others - longer legs, but very affectionate. Seems more mature than the others - the first to eat dry biscuits etc. Likes to sleep on your lap - although they all do
This is what happened this morning when I sat on the floor while they were playing.
They climbed on my legs and fell asleep. Bessie lay across my feet.
From the top, Bessie, Spud, Baby, Rhodie.
Sorry Muddled but I just had to put him/her through the photorotator...............Beautiful........................
