Anyone had Puppies? Part 1

Oh don't start with the puppies. Little girl wanted to know what the thread was that I was reading so I told her. So she asked if she could have a puppy and I said No.
We have local travellers by use with horses and she says if she can't have a puppy then can she have one of their horses. She has already picked the one she wants, a little fat grey one.
Of course I have said No to that as well. Bad mommy.

Now there#s an idea - phantom puppy and ghostly horse!
And VC can I please have the little fat, lumpy one that every body else thinks there is too much substance to, to keep.

Bit of news though. Bessie was at the end of her season when she came to the Sanctuary and was kept away from all the male dogs, even though they were neutered, as they can still pester. She was put in with the puppies, and the only male pup was the Springer spaniel, the brother of Jeanied's Petal. He is only a few months old and not mature.
So if it happened, it was before Bessie was handed in. Hoping to find out the date and more about the previous owner's dogs soon.

Gosh we are all in suspense, I presume we should know soon if Bessie is having pups or not? It has certainly kept us going the past week or so!

Surely not though, he would have only been 2-3 months old at the time. He was supposed to have a birth date of 3rd August, like Petal. Mind you - one never knows as the breeder didn't leave a lot of detail!

I can see little Bessie in my minds eye...................at the sit, paw in front of mouth to hide the giggles, and thinking this lot are an easy touch, can I have another pillow please.
