      • I will help anyway I can, have bred Cavalier King Charles Spaniels for over 30 years (not breeding now). Has the pregnacy been confirmed and do you have a rough idea of due date?? If you like PM me and we can arrange to speak on telephone. Actually whereabouts are you, I am in Bridlington on East Coast.

Thanks for your kind offer KG. The puppies were born 3rd December and 3 of them have gone to new homes. I've kept 2 - as I couldn't bear to part with them all.
I've had Cavalier's for about 30 years too - perfect dog for me. I still have one, Mary, she's 9-10. If you look back through the thread you'll see her in some of the photos, being put upon by the puppies.

                • Today the puppies did something new

Spud fell in the pond . I hauled him out by his collar, just as Ted decided to jump across to the other side. Needless to say he didn't make it! He went completely underwater, then stuck his head up looking so bedraggled and funny. I hauled him out by his collar too and they chased each round to dry off until I could go back to the house for a towel. Their fur is really curly when wet and they look ever so small!
No photos unfortunately - video would have been better

                      • Ever thought daddy could have been a water spaniel - I don't supposed they have webbed toes do they?
I know you can get doggy goggles called 'doggles' but I wonder if you can get doggy snorkels - if I invented them I could call them dorkels'

                        • ...............or snoggies
I wonder whether they'll go in again? Luckily, its not deep, they could easily walk out of it if they needed to,

                          • You just wait till the summer - volcanically hot (as if) and then they realise they can have an instant cool down by pretending to be ducks!
