Anyone had Puppies? Part 1

Just looked for this thread to ask how the pups were doing and have realised I had missed the latest photos...again! Looking good VC!

Had one of those begging letters today from the RSPCA.



Spud said he's collecting donations of dog biscuits to feed other abandoned pups (like Ted)

I thought you were having more puppies VC, when I saw this thread back at the top of the page.

MORE puppies Never again - I hope!

They're nearly 9 months old now and are different in lots of ways.
Spud is still a little lightweight, like a cat to pick up and he curls up in a circle to sleep. His fur is long, softish and curly. I've had to trim his eyebrows because he couldn't see through them! He's gentle but mischievous. Butter wouldn't melt etc. He's very agile and can jump and climb over every fence I've put up so far!

Ted weighs a ton, he's really stocky and strong. If he jumps up at you, he nearly knocks you over. His fur is shorter, wiry and still brown. He sleeps on his back with his legs in the air. He likes to bury his food - in his bed! There's a boiled potato wrapped in his blanket at the moment. Ted doesn't climb, he bulldozes his way through wire netting. Throws himself at it, makes a hole, and keeps on pushing until he can get through. He's also a digger so, one way or another, you can't stop Ted when he's made up his mind. When's he's norty, he's called Edward

They're both really nice-natured and get on very well together and with Bessie. They all chase round the garden, destroying the lawn and flowers, picking strawberries and chasing apples. Great fun. Life would be a lot duller without them.

Now, this is quite a long bit of reading but well worth it for any dog lover who, will like me snigger and laugh all the way through it. Enjoy

Charlie's 'new hat'.

Charlie went to his first 'dog show' today, and we bought him a'new hat'! Hope this photo comes out right way up!

Charlie looks a bit like my Grandad in that cap He's such a handsome pup. How old is he now, Dotty?

He is 8 months, very loved. A month or so younger than your puppies VC. Birthdate 12.1.15.

Ted weighs 10.4kgs, Spud is a mere 6.6kgs. Bess is somewhere in the middle.
I can't believe its 12 months since I took in Bess and 10 months since she gave me 5 little surprises
