Didn't Queen release 'These are the days of our lives' when he died? I bought the single - it was very moving.
PS I saw Queen live at Knebworth for the it's a Kind of Magic tour. Wonderful to be there, of course, but I can honestly say that I hardly saw a thing of the band as they were about 4 miles away.

Yes Haze, they released it after he died. I bet Knebworth was electric. 1986 I believe in front of 120,000. They released some really poignant albums around the time of his illness. Well I guess one of the good things about being so old, its that I got to be alive and listen to that great music at the time!
As for being a showman! Well, for all the other poses and shows he put on I still remember him in that miniskirt and hair rollers pushing a vac around - was just the funniest thing at the time
