I hate the darkness of winter, and I can get a bit stuck in lethargy but I am trying to see the upsides. I can still go out for long walks in the crisp evenings. I can plan what I am growing next year, and spend a bit more time with my OH, and I bake/cook an awful lot more. And get a fair bit fatter!

I work nights which eases the problem somewhat, plus I work 4 on 4 off which gives plenty of lotty time. Having said that, I have solar powered security lights on my plot which have come in handy a few times in the past couple of weeks
