Not heard of it before Arpoet so had a look in line and found a interesting youTube explaining about it :-

Yes I have heard of it - not sure how now! I signed up and I get a daily email updating me on what people are asking / commenting on. It has had some interesting discussions on local issues - local councillors and journalists also take an interest and participate. If the police are particularly busy in an area it often gets commented on and one or two warnings about scams / con artists / pickpockets have been circulated.

Also a useful way of getting recommendations from local people for different trades.

Yup! I joined it over a year ago. I remember moaning about inconsiderate villagers with fireworks. Hardly anyone locally was on it at the time, and I haven't been back!
