Ok, here's the thing. I'm trying to track down the name of a film so that I can try to buy it for a friend. She saw it years ago one Christmas morning and it has always stuck in her memory...APART FROM IT'S TITLE!!!
So here's a synopsis of it as she tells it.
It's an animation about a little old man who is very poor and how a wooden Nativity set comes to life to help him...
That's it. That's all I've got, though it might be an animation in the style of Raymond Briggs' "The Snowman".
While we're about it, anyone know the title of another animated film about a giant with a beautiful garden who builds a wall around it to keep children out. Winter comes to the garden until one day a Child get's through a hole in the wall and spring returns. The Child is a Christ-figure.
So can any of you film buffs help me out here?
