I think I'd be stumped with a reply like that Wendy! Prevening All. It's been quite mild here today so I did venture into the garden, but just had a look around at everything that needs to be done and came back in! I told Himself that Wednesday had scored - I heard the crowd, so he knew before it appeared on the teletextGranny on the Game in Sheffield

Currently sitting in the Sports Plaza with a pint of beer following games of table tennis and short tennis - needless to say I got thrashed at both by a 13 yr old and a 5 yr old - wonder if I can get them to compete at drinking beerEndeavour to have lived, so that when you die, even the undertaker will be sorry - Puddinghead Wilson's Diary

VC - it gets worse - I used to be quite good at table tennis and badminton and only one or two at work were as good despite the 20 years or so age difference - where did it all go wrongLast edited by Sheneval; 07-02-2015, 08:29 PM.Endeavour to have lived, so that when you die, even the undertaker will be sorry - Puddinghead Wilson's Diary

Evening all... Productive day today.. Final viewing of some cars and final choice made, and deal struck
Daughter's soccer team won 3-1... Made a good start on building a sand propagator..
Fire lit now and watching a movie with the kids.. Glass of red anyone?Last edited by Tripmeup; 07-02-2015, 08:37 PM.I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

I finally managed to get the compost out from under my fingernails - whoop whoop. I don't look like I have some terrible lurgy now.
OH is playing Crash Bandi - wotsit on his beloved old ps2, the dogs are comatose, the fire is blazing and I have a brandy. Not a bad Saturday.
Back to Lu Lu lottie tomorrow to deal with the weeds that have had the audacity to grow under the plastic.I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. Thomas A. Edison

Truth to tell my capacity for beer is not what it was either - only my chess remains unaffected by the ravages of timeEndeavour to have lived, so that when you die, even the undertaker will be sorry - Puddinghead Wilson's Diary

A nicer day weatherwise - that biting north wind seems to have eased, so the run round the park today was lovely.
Excitement at my mother's - new hearing aids are fantastic, revolutionary, well worth the money, wouldn't be without them etc etc - and now she has found out just how easy it is to lose one.
It would appear that when my brother called round earlier, she gave him a hug when he left on the front drive and managed to catch one on his coat dislodge and drop it. I found after a forensic search of the house, and then the drive - I note that it was me that went round in order to do the forensic search when she phoned up in a flap, and not my flipping brother!
Hey ho - all's well that ends well!
