Morning ladies, another gorgeous day u folding here. Quick visit to Doctors, another argument against statins, then it's back home to sow my second wave of seeds
Have a great day all
Taking the car to the dealer later as it has been recalled 'to address a potential issue with the intake system and ECU update...... resulting in the small possibility of a fire in the engine compartment.'
Meanwhile, there are plenty of items on the Task List to be hit into touch!
It's been lovely here, just come indoors for five minutes. Sitting in a chair, enjoying the sunshine that's us today. Lots of gardening talk - of course.
Glad to report 100% sweetcorn have come up, tomato 0%. Have threatened to buy some of the lovely looking plants at BQ, but will have another try at seeds before I do.
Grey here too (Preston) and my tomato seeds had been in the propagator for 6 weeks with nothing showing. I went away for two days, bought some tomato plants in B&Q on the way home only to discover I had 8 new seedlings at home!
Not having any luck at all with sweetcorn this year, I think my seeds are too old. One more go with my last batch and if not I'll buy some new ones!
A quick message to say, I went to Egypt and had a lovely, lovely time. The only thing that could have made it better would have been MrQ with me, but that is not to be. So, Hazel and VC and everyone else who encouraged me to go, .... thank you. You were right, it was good and yes Hazel, I do feel 'empowered'. I know that I could go away again somewhere else and the sky would not fall in and I would enjoy it.
